We here at chocri love giving you power that others just cannot give you. Besides the fact that with us, you can create your own chocolate bar and give it your own name, we love asking you for your opinion in big decisions such as our name (decided by a survey) and now... the inside of our packaging!

The past week or so we received great submissions from you and are now excited to put them up for a vote. You can vote from now until Friday.

We got a lot (a looot!) of great phrases, but only the 10 best ones (per your vote) will be printed in the inside of our packaging.

Because there's so many of them, we allowed for multiple answers - just click on all the ones you like a lot, and we'll print the ones with the most votes. Thank you for your input! Remember: the submission with the best votes gets a $50 gift certificate, the runner up receives a $20 gift certificate, and the third place is rewarded with a $10 gift certificate.

A good while back, we started our toppings poll. We are now ready to report the results:

Top Ten Toppings

Two things I've observed about your ten top toppings:
- You like nuts
- We have most of them! Only Cocoa Nibs and Toasted Almonds are missing.

We can do that :). In total, we are testing six new toppings now: Cacao Nibs, Toasted Almonds, Orange Zest, Cookie Crumbs, Raspberry, and Black Sesame We'll keep you updated, and this is of course a continuous process - we will have many opportunities for you to tell us what's missing along the way - or just shoot us an email!

Most Hated

You didn't dig: Bacon, Hemp Leaves, and to my surprise, the writing "Congratulations" I guess chocri will be missing out on the bacon craze for a while... ;)

We Have A Winner!

S/he didn't write back yet (these mails are so spam-folder prone.. "hey, you won chocolate!"), but the winner was randomly determined and has a few days to get back to us until we do it again. Two customized chocolate bars from us! We'll have another blog post on that.

We Germans might be a little stubborn sometimes, but what's right is right, and the deliciousness we add on your chocri chocolate bar are not ingredients, they are toppings. Not like ice cream toppings, but more like pizza toppings- the chocri bar doesn't "work" without them.

Please bare with us as we get used to the new word and change all the little links and kinks. Most of all though, thank you for your continuous input!

We're not done yet collecting, but wanted to give you the preliminary results. Here we go (drumrolls...):

Something funny: The "Smiley heart shape (male)" was more popular than the "Smiley heart shape (female)"! Did we have more ladies answer the survey? ;)

Interesting suggestions were
- Popcorn, or
- "Soda flavors",
- Toasted corn and
- Malt balls.

Something nearly everyone said was: peanut butter. This is a real challenge, since peanut butter isn't firm enough to really be placed on chocolate. Tough one. My mission is now to find peanut butter "pieces" or something comparable (peanut butter in chocolate coating as little pearls). - Please help! Have you come by any small peanut butter products that are more solid than peanut butter typically is? Shoot me an email at carmen@chocri.com or, even better, leave a comment on this blog post.
