Ginger is mostly used as a seasoning and packs a spicy, flavorful punch. Once a “wonder of the Far-East,” ginger is now a worldwide kitchen necessity. We’re sure many of you have already experienced the flavor with sushi, in Ginger Ale or perhaps tasted it in a cocktail glass!
Fleur de Sel (Sea Salt)
This white “gold” celebrates its comeback with chocri! We source our fleur de sel from Portugal, so strictly speaking it is "Flor de Sal". Both terms mean "Flower of Salt", and this hand-harvested sea salt is one of the most expensive. It is collected by workers in the Atlantic in so-called "salt pans". If you look at a big heap of fleur de sel, it is often slightly grey because of the minerals contained in it. Most importantly though, it will taste fantastic on your chocolate bar.
Organic Mint Leaves
The favorite flavor of chewing gum, mint, will make your chocri fresh and ready for a kiss!
Cocoa Nibs
Cocoa nibs are **the soul of the cocoa bean**, the kernel inside that is pure cocoa, and pure bliss. And now, you can customize your chocolate bar with this essence of the fruit of the gods. Their flavor is powerful, their texture crunchy. You can practically darken your chocolate bar by adding them as a topping - your dark chocolate then has a cocoa content higher than the 64% of the base chocolate. Beware - Cocoa Nibs are not sweet, but cocoa in its essence. That also means that they are packed with all the antioxidants, heart-healthy and aphrodisiac ingredients - for everyone who wants to give their chocolate **a chocolatey boost**.
Roasted Cashews
This tasty nut is well known from the stands in big cities, and snuggles up the Roasted Almonds and Roasted Peanuts we already have in our assortment. Nevertheless, we tested and tried these Honey Roasted Cashnuts of course, and within just a day or so in the office, all of our samples had evaporated. This topping was a Topping of the Month and you loved it, so here it is - in our permanent assortment!
